Steve joined Coril in October 2020, assuming the role of Controller and in March 2023, was promoted to the position of Vice President, Asset Management. In this elevated capacity, he leads the development and implementation of comprehensive asset management strategies tailored to optimize Coril's portfolio performance. These strategies are strategically aligned with the organization's overarching goals and objectives, contributing harmoniously to its success.

Before becoming part of Coril, Steve initiated his accounting career at Ernst & Young in New Brunswick, later relocating to the Calgary office. His professional journey encompasses diverse finance roles in the public energy sector, including Controller and Manager of Investor Relations at TransGlobe Energy, as well as Corporate Controller at Black Diamond Group. Leveraging his financial background and experience in public company investor relations, Steve plays a pivotal role in charting the course of Coril’s future portfolio construction, making him a key architect of the company’s future success.

Steve’s academic foundation is augmented by his Chartered Professional Accountant and Chartered Accountant designations, supported by a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of New Brunswick.

Beyond his corporate pursuits, Steve is a strong advocate for community well-being. He currently serves as a Board member and Treasurer of the Oakridge Community Association, supporting the Association’s efforts to provide a recreational and social setting for community activities and to provide civic representation and support for community issues. Steve's zest for life extends to his passion for outdoor activities, where he thrives as an enthusiastic road cyclist, mountain biker, and snowboarder.
